Building Drawings
The original 1971–72 construction drawings for the building (then "Pine Grove Apartments"), scanned and categorized by discipline — architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, plus the original building permit.
There are 8 water risers, one per tier (A–H), each running the full height of the building. Off each riser, a branch feeds that unit's bathroom, kitchen, and water heater.
Sheet P-5b (Plumbing Riser Diagrams & Details) is the water distribution riser diagram and carries this note:
That valve isolates the water heater branch only — it is not a whole-unit shutoff. None of the reviewed sheets show a single valve that shuts off all water to a whole unit or a whole tier; a tier's riser would need to be valved at its own base to isolate that entire tier, and that valve location hasn't been identified in this set yet. Sheet P-1b separately shows the building's main incoming water service (a 6″ main tapped under Pine Grove Ave) in the lower-level parking area.
- Address reads “2744 Pine Grove Avenue” on every sheet, not 2740 N Pine Grove Ave — almost certainly the same building's pre-conversion address, worth confirming against deed/PIN records.
- Sheets 13–14 are missing from this set (file numbers jump from 453 to 456).
- Sheet ~58's number is torn off in the scan — content and sequence are clear, exact sheet ID is not.
- Files 501–509 break the sequence — a building permit plus several low-numbered plumbing/architectural sheets that look like a second, partial scan pass rather than a continuation.
